Deborah E. Moran is New York City’s only Certified Myofascial Trigger Point Therapist. She has a private practice on Manhattan’s East Side exclusively dedicated to treating myofascial pain and dysfunction.
A 1996 graduate from the Academy for Myofascial Trigger Point Therapy [now the Pittsburgh School of Pain Management in Pittsburgh, Deborah has been a Certified Myofascial Trigger Point Therapist since passing the Certification Examination administered by the Certification Board for Myofascial Trigger Point Therapists. She graduated from the Swedish Institute in New York City in 1998 and is a licensed Massage Therapist in New York State. She also holds a B.A. from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut.
Deborah is a Professional Member of the National Association of Myofascial Trigger Point Therapists [NAMTPT], and is a member of the American Academy of Pain Management [AAPM] and the International Myopain Society. She also serves as a member of the board for the Certification Board for Myofascial Trigger Point Therapists and in the past has served on the board of the NAMTPT.
